September is one of our favorite months in Jackson Hole. Summer adventures are still going strong, fall begins making its way across the valley, and the calendar is packed with events that give you even more reasons to visit.

From the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival and one of the valley's favorite community traditions to dining events, farmers markets, and Oktoberfest in Teton Village, there are plenty of things to do in Jackson Hole in September 2026. Here are some of the September events worth adding to your trip.

Teton Village Restaurant Week

September 7-13, 2026 | Teton Village

Start your September trip with a taste of Teton Village. During Teton Village Restaurant Week, participating restaurants throughout the Village will offer special prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus for $29 and $49.

Participating restaurants include Corsa, Handle Bar, Il Villaggio Osteria, Piste, Shin Shin, Sure Hand, The Spur, Wild Pine, and Tram Dock. It's an easy way to try somewhere new or plan a few dinners out during a September stay in Teton Village.

Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival

September 9-20, 2026 | Throughout Jackson Hole

One of Jackson Hole's biggest September traditions returns for its 42nd year. The Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival brings more than 50 events to galleries, museums, and venues throughout the valley over 12 days.

The festival celebrates Western, wildlife, landscape, and contemporary art with gallery walks, exhibitions, auctions, artist demonstrations, and opportunities to experience Jackson Hole's art scene.

Old Bill's Fun Run

September 12, 2026 | Downtown Jackson

Experience one of Jackson Hole's favorite community traditions at Old Bill's Fun Run.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026, Old Bill's brings the community together to support local nonprofits throughout Teton County. Run Day includes timed 5K and 10K races, an adaptive race, an untimed fun run and walk, the Diaper Derby, and a nonprofit village where you can learn more about organizations serving the Jackson Hole community.

The event takes place at the Jackson Elementary School fields, with festivities beginning at 8 a.m. and races starting at 8:30 a.m. Participation in the run and walk is free, but registration is required.

Stay close to downtown at One Town Hill 508. This one-bedroom residence sleeps up to four guests and offers an easy home base for Old Bill's weekend, downtown dining, and exploring the rest of Jackson Hole.


Jackson Hole Farmers Market

Saturdays in September | Jackson Town Square

Saturday mornings on Town Square are a Jackson Hole summer tradition, and the Jackson Hole Farmers Market continues into September.

Spend the morning browsing local produce, prepared foods, and locally made goods before exploring downtown or heading out for the day's adventures. The market runs from 8 a.m. to noon, making it an easy first stop on a September Saturday.

Wrap up September in Teton Village with a weekend of Bavarian-inspired fun. Teton Village Oktoberfest returns for its second year and expands to two days in 2026.

The weekend brings food, regional craft beer, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities to the Village Commons at the base of the Tetons. Oktoberfest takes place Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27.
